Fiverr Seller Plus is a monthly subscription you pay on top of the 20% Fiverr already keeps. The pitch is better data, coupons, promotions and a faster payout, and the price depends on your seller level. Most pages that rank for it quote a single number, and they disagree with each other by up to $30. Here is what each tier costs according to Fiverr's own help center, what it changes about your fees, and the sales level at which a plan of your own starts leaving you more.
The short answer. Fiverr Seller Plus costs $15 a month on Kickstart (new sellers without a level), $25 on Standard (Level 1 and up) and $49 on Premium (Level 2 and up). Paying a year up front cuts Standard to $225 and Premium to $441. None of the tiers lowers Fiverr's 20% commission, so at $1,000 a month in sales a Standard member hands Fiverr $225, which is 22.5% of revenue.
How much is Fiverr Seller Plus?
Fiverr Seller Plus has three tiers, and which ones you can buy depends on your level. Kickstart is $15 a month and is open only to new freelancers who have not reached Level 1. Standard is $25 a month from Level 1. Premium is $49 a month from Level 2. All three renew automatically, and Fiverr adds sales tax where your location requires it.
Standard and Premium can also be bought for six months or a year at a time, which is where the lower prices in some reviews come from:
| Tier | Who can join | Monthly | Half-yearly | Yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kickstart | New, no level yet | $15 | Not offered | Not offered |
| Standard | Level 1 and above | $25 | $128 ($21.30 a month) | $225 ($18.75 a month) |
| Premium | Level 2 and above | $49 | $250 ($41.60 a month) | $441 ($38 a month) |
The $19 and $20 figures still circulating on Q&A sites match none of the current tiers. If a page quotes one price for "Seller Plus" without naming a tier, check it against Fiverr's help center before you budget.
What are the Fiverr Seller Plus benefits?
The benefits fall into four groups: data, promotion tools, payout speed and support. Standard and Premium share most of them, and Premium adds the few that touch money directly.
- Data. Advanced analytics, client activity insights, keyword research and pricing insights on both paid tiers, and on Kickstart too.
- Promotion. Coupons (5 a month on Standard, 20 on Premium), first-time client promotions (up to 10 orders a month on Standard, 20 on Premium), extra follow-up messages and a $5 monthly Fiverr Ads credit.
- Payout speed. Earnings clear in 7 days instead of the usual 14 on Standard and Premium. Premium also unlocks Early Payout, which releases money before it clears for a 1% fee each time.
- Support and service. Priority support and live walkthrough sessions on both, plus a dedicated Success Manager, Request to order and Top Rated review priority on Premium only.
Kickstart is a lighter bundle for new sellers: the data tools, AI feedback on your Gigs, coupons and promotions, a guided onboarding session, ID verification and priority support.
Does Seller Plus lower Fiverr's 20% fee?
No. Seller Plus does not change the commission. You still receive 80% of the client's cleared payment on every order, extras and tips included, and the subscription comes out of what is left. Your clients also keep paying their own service fee of 5.5%, plus $3.50 on orders under $200, whatever tier you are on.
That makes Seller Plus a fixed cost stacked on a percentage. At low volume it pushes your effective take rate well past 20%; at high volume it fades into the noise. Our breakdown of Fiverr seller fees and what you keep per order covers the commission itself in detail.
What Fiverr Seller Plus really costs at your sales level
Here is Fiverr's commission plus the cheapest Seller Plus tier you could hold at each stage, against the cheapest plan on a gig page of your own. Our plans do not process the payment, so the gig page column adds Stripe's 2.9% plus $0.30 on every order. The average order is $100.
| Sales a month | Fiverr 20% + tier | Effective take | Gig page plan + Stripe | Effective take |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $300 | $75 (Kickstart) | 25.0% | $42.60 (Starter) | 14.2% |
| $500 | $125 (Standard) | 25.0% | $60 (Pro) | 12.0% |
| $1,000 | $225 (Standard) | 22.5% | $101 (Pro) | 10.1% |
| $3,000 | $649 (Premium) | 21.6% | $235 (Studio) | 7.8% |
The comparison is not like for like, and it would be dishonest to pretend otherwise. The Fiverr column buys you a marketplace with millions of buyers already searching it. The gig page column buys a page that is listed in a much smaller marketplace and works best for clients who already know you. The point of the table is the gap on work you would have won anyway: at $1,000 a month it is $124. To run your own numbers, the Fiverr fee calculator puts any order size side by side with Upwork and our plans.
Is Fiverr Seller Plus worth it?
Fiverr Seller Plus is worth it when its promotion tools win you at least one extra order a month, and that bar is low. At a $100 average order you keep $80, so Standard pays for itself with about a third of an extra order, and Premium with about two thirds. At a $50 average, Premium needs a little over one extra order a month.
The harder question is whether the tools produce that order. Coupons and first-time client promotions buy conversions with a discount, so each one costs you twice: the subscription and the price cut. The data tools are useful for choosing Gig titles and prices, and the 7-day clearance matters if cash flow is tight. If your Fiverr income is mostly repeat clients who would order regardless, none of those features earn anything, and Seller Plus is pure cost.
Treat the subscription as a business expense either way. It is invoiced under Billing history, and an expense tool that reads each invoice and files it under the right category saves you hunting for twelve small Fiverr charges at tax time.
Which tier should you pick, Kickstart, Standard or Premium?
If you are new and have no level, Kickstart at $15 is the only option, and its real value is the onboarding session and the feedback on your Gigs before your first reviews arrive. Skip it if you already know how to write a Gig and price it.
At Level 1, Standard at $25 is the tier to test for one billing cycle. Measure orders that came through a coupon or a promotion; if there are none after a month, cancel. At Level 2, Premium is worth the extra $24 only if you will use Early Payout or Request to order, or if more than 10 promoted orders a month is a realistic number for you.
Do not prepay for a year to save money until a monthly cycle has shown a return. Fiverr refunds only if you cancel within 48 hours of a payment, and the yearly renewal is held against your withdrawable balance 30 days before it charges.
How is Fiverr Seller Plus charged?
Fiverr takes the subscription from your available Fiverr balance first. If the balance is too low, it records a Seller Plus debt and collects it from future earnings as they clear, and you are removed from the program if the debt stays unpaid for two months. You can add a card or PayPal instead. Kickstart is different: the first payment must come from a card or PayPal, and later payments try your balance first.
How do you cancel Fiverr Seller Plus?
You cancel from the Manage membership page on your freelancer dashboard, at any time. Your benefits run to the end of the billing cycle you already paid for. A refund is only possible if you cancel within 48 hours of your last payment and contact support inside that window; after you use any feature past the 48 hours, the payment is not refundable.
A cheaper channel for the clients who already know you
Many sellers end up with the same split: new buyers arrive through Fiverr search, and a growing share of revenue comes from clients who order again. Fiverr charges the same 20% on the tenth order from a client as on the first, and Seller Plus adds to it. Moving repeat work to a gig page with fixed tiers (or the equivalent for your trade) keeps the packaging your clients already understand and drops the take to our plan rate. Our FreelanceNation vs Fiverr comparison sets the two side by side, and if you are deciding where to list next, the sites like Fiverr compared on fees covers the marketplaces worth adding. Artists can go straight to Fiverr for artists and what each commission tier pays.
A gig page takes a few minutes to set up. You publish your tiers, link the page from your own site, social profiles and email signature (Fiverr's rules bar sending clients off Fiverr from inside its messages), and the next repeat order arrives as a request with the tier and brief attached. See the plan prices before you start.
