Podia has three paid plans: Mover at $49 a month with a 5% transaction fee, Shaker at $99 with no fee, and Earthquaker at $179 with no fee. Paying yearly drops them to $42, $84 and $150 a month. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial that needs no card, and Stripe or PayPal charge their own 2.9% plus 30 cents on every plan.
The number that decides your plan is monthly sales. Mover and Shaker cost the same at $1,000 a month on monthly billing and at $840 on yearly billing. Below that, Mover's 5% is cheaper than Shaker's extra $50 (or $42); above it, every dollar of sales on Mover costs you a nickel you would not pay on Shaker.

Shaker costs $50 a month more than Mover on monthly billing and $42 more on yearly billing. Mover's 5% fee overtakes that gap at $1,000 and $840 of monthly sales.
Earthquaker is never the cheaper plan on fees alone. You buy it for the 1,000 email subscribers, unlimited products and unlimited assistant seats.

How much does Podia cost per month?
Podia costs $49 a month on Mover, $99 on Shaker and $179 on Earthquaker when billed monthly. Billed yearly the same plans work out to $42, $84 and $150 a month, paid as $504, $1,008 or $1,800 up front. Card processing through Stripe or PayPal is charged on top by the processor.
Does Podia take a percentage of sales?
Only on Mover, which charges a 5% transaction fee on every sale. Shaker and Earthquaker carry no Podia fee. On every plan your payment processor, Stripe or PayPal, still takes its standard 2.9% plus 30 cents per payment, which Podia says may vary by location.
Does Podia have a free plan?
No. Podia's pricing page lists three paid plans and a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature, and you do not need a credit card or a chosen plan to start it. After the trial you pick Mover, Shaker or Earthquaker to keep selling.
Is Podia worth it?
Podia is worth it if you sell courses, a community or a membership and want the website, checkout and email list in one place. For a coach or freelancer who mainly sells sessions and services, the platform cost is harder to justify below about $1,700 a month in sales, because Podia brings no buyers of its own.
What is the difference between Podia Mover and Shaker?

Is Podia cheaper than Kajabi?
Yes, at every plan level. Podia runs $49 to $179 a month against Kajabi's $179 to $499, and only Podia's entry plan takes a cut. Kajabi includes far larger contact limits, 2,500 on its cheapest plan against Podia's 100, so a creator with a big email list should price both.
Can I get a refund from Podia?
Yes, within a short window. Podia refunds a payment if you message them within 72 hours of your most recent charge, and refunds take 5 to 10 business days to arrive. It does not give partial refunds on annual plans, so test during the free trial before paying for a year.
Can I switch Podia plans or billing later?
Yes. Podia lets you upgrade, downgrade or switch between monthly and annual billing at any time. It also says it never upgrades you automatically when you reach your email subscriber limit; it emails you as you get close and leaves the decision with you.
Is there a cheaper Podia alternative for selling coaching sessions?
